The Ultimate Bike Handle

Okay first of all, WOW. The simply named Bike Lock probably took some real ingenuity to create and I would LOVE to see a prototype. The handle itself can be detached from the main frame and used as modified bike lock but wait, there’s more. It can also function as a bike stand when you park it indoors. CLEVER!

Bike Sharing in Chicago!
Yesterday I was walking through Daley Plaza I stumbled upon the recently installed bike sharing station. What a great idea! After living in Chicago for a while, I finally signed up for car sharing. It has been a life saver a few times (moving, installations, family, etc.) but bike sharing, when could that be useful? Well, mostly it will be useful for tourists, but what about the one friend who doesn’t have a bike on beach trip day? Or your friend who is in town and obviously couldn’t bring their bike with them? Its a great way to avoid those expensive tour-bikes, and get around the city. The coolest part is that the whole operation is solar powered. Green renting and riding, what could be better on a sunny Chicago day.

Promise I won’t always re-blog my other blog, for my followers of both my blogs sanity.  But just the first few posts because it feeds to my facebook. Until readership picks up. Thanks for the patience, sorry about the flooded dashes!

CHANEL Bicycle
For the lady who drapes herself in nothing but Chanel, a très très limited-edition bicyclette from the house that Coco built. Only 50 models were made, less than half of which are available in the United States. Adorned with Chanel’s signature quilted leather, including a detachable jewelry roll and a pair of saddlebags, this eight-speed epitome of two-wheel decadence will set you back, oh about $17,000 or so.

I guess I bought a bike too soon, since you know, this one is in my price range and seems very practical.  But, it is nice looking!

Not as beautiful as the other two I just posted, but I adore this one nonetheless.
